Graeme Hunt

Biography

Graeme Hunt was appointed on 10 October 2025. His current term will expire on 9 October 2028.

Graeme is a highly experienced non-executive director, currently serving as Chair of Aureka Ltd, Akora Resources Ltd and Bis Industries, and non-executive director of Powering Australia Ltd Clean Tech Manufacturing Industry Growth Centre. He was formerly a non-executive director of Future Battery Industries CRC, AGL Energy and numerous other organisations in the energy and resources sector. Graeme also operates his own advisory business providing strategic advice, mentoring and consulting services.

Graeme was previously MD & CEO of AGL Energy, MD & CEO of Broadspectrum and MD & CEO of Lihir Gold. Prior to that Graeme was President Uranium and Olympic Dam Development at BHP, preceded by various other senior global leadership roles across the BHP portfolio of businesses including President Iron Ore and President Aluminium.

Graeme has a Bachelor of Metallurgy and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wollongong and has completed the London Business School Senior Executive program.
